Naidu stands for deceit: Jagan

Urges voters to shun corrupt forces

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with the public, urging them to consider the welfare schemes of the State for the next five years and to prevent corrupt forces from gaining power.
Addressing a public meeting in Bhimavaram as part of his ‘Memantha Siddham Yatra’ on Tuesday, Jagan remarked, “This election is a choice between the support for the underprivileged under your Chief Minister and the corrupt practices associated with Chandrababu Naidu. Chandrababu Naidu seems to be perturbed even at the mention of my name, indicating his discomfort with questions regarding his own governance and achievements.”
Reflecting on his rival, Jagan continued, “When Chandrababu Naidu’s name arises, it’s not his accomplishments that come to mind, but rather notions of deceit, betrayal, and dishonesty.”
Turning his attention to JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan, Chief Minister Jagan criticized his shifting allegiances and personal choices. “Pawan Kalyan, you may make vows of commitment, but your actions speak differently. Your tendency to change affiliations resembles trading in vehicles. Such behaviour not only undermines commitments but sets a poor example for society,” remarked the Chief Minister.
Drawing a comparison between his governance and that of his predecessors, Jagan emphasised, “While Chandrababu Naidu resorted to deceit and manipulation, my administration has prioritised welfare initiatives for all sections of society. Despite facing opposition from various quarters, our government has consistently delivered on its promises.”

Highlighting the achievements of the YSRCP government, Chief Minister Jagan underscored initiatives such as RBKs, village clinics, educational reforms, and pension schemes for the elderly. He further noted the substantial financial support provided directly to women beneficiaries.
Asserting the readiness of his administration for the upcoming electoral battle, Jagan rallied the support of the people. “I am not alone in this endeavour; every household is a part of the YSRCP movement. Despite attempts by certain sections of the media to mislead the public with baseless accusations, our track record speaks for itself.”
Refuting claims of development under previous regimes, Chief Minister Jagan challenged the validity of Chandrababu Naidu’s promises, citing unfulfilled commitments such as hyperloop projects and the attraction of major corporations to the state.
“In 2014, Chandrababu Naidu made grandiose pledges alongside his allies, none of which materialized. The people remember the broken promises of farm loan waivers and employment assurances. Now, these same parties are resurrecting similar assurances under new banners,” remarked Chief Minister Jagan, urging voters to scrutinise records before casting their ballots.
