Hyderabad Police Commissioner Kothakota Sreenivas Reddy on Sunday held a review meeting with election observers ahead of polling day in Hyderabad .
The Police Commissioner stressed on enforcement of laws and the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct. He called for strict vigilance to prevent of flow of cash, liquor and freebees into the city.
Addressing the meeting at the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC), the Police Commissioner also highlighted the measures to be adopted three days ahead of the polling.
Critical polling stations, availability of CAPF personnel and arrangements of strong rooms, DAC centers were also discussed.
Reddy stressed that guidelines from Election Commission of India should be strictly implemented.
District Election Officer Ronald Rose, General Observer for Secundrabad Dr Saroj Kumar, the Police Observer for Hyderabad and Secundrabad, Shadhank Anand, Expenditure Observer Amit Shukla among others were present in the meeting.
Police officials from the 15 constituencies of Hyderabad district also attended the meeting.
