Former minister and the BJP candidate for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency Etala Rajender has said that BJP alone is capable of ruling the people of the country and maintained that the BJP is not limited to any specific region but all over the nation the party has been giving a tough fight to the political rivals.
He predicted that the BJP would win at least 12 seats in Telangana. The people depending on the situation would become dynamic and never permanently settle with any particular party, he observed.
Telangana is not the fiefdom of any particular party, he said, and added that the BJP has grown to have 370 seats in the Lok Sabha, first having just two seats.
Addressing the media at the BJP office here on Thursday, he said people voted to the BJP with the notion that it should win all 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. The intelligentsia have been extending its support to the BJP. The mobile phone revolution is helping news faster, he said, adding that IT employees, government servants and youth voted for the BJP.
Further, he appealed to the graduate voters of Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates’ constituency to ensure the electoral victory of party candidate Gujjula Premender Reddy as he has complete understanding of the people’s problems.
He called the Congress as the party that was rejected by the people in a relatively short period. Everyone knows the history of the Congress. The people voted for Congress to defeat KCR, he analysed.
Fused motor pumpsets and dried irrigation canals, which are the characteristic feature of united AP, can be seen now in Telangana, he said.
He said that he would speak to graduates in all districts and seek their votes explaining them what the BJP would do to them. He quoted the examples of BJP’s success like abrogation of Article 370 and doing away with triple talaq. Modi says all are equal, but the Congress begs to differ, he said.
Premender Reddy has the record of fighting on the problems of students right from his student days. He sailed with the BJP during the past 40 years through thick and thin, he added.
