Must read

Minister for Agriculture Kakani Govardhan Reddy has condemned dragging him into the Bangalore rave party controversy and an impartial comprehensive investigation into the party and the participants.
Talking to the media here on Monday, the Minister made it clear that he had nothing to do with the car which was found at the rave party and he did not know the owner of the car. The car which was found at the rave party, held at Electronic City in Bangalore, had a sticker of MLA. The MLA sticker was also a Xerox copy, he clarified. He said that he would complain to the Karnataka police for using an MLA sticker with his name without his knowledge.
“I did not know about the car, which was found at a rave party and the owner of the car. It is not proper to drag me into the issue for only the trivial reason that the car has the MLA sticker. The car was registered in the name of Tummala Venkateswara Rao and belonged to Vijayawada and I did know who he was” the Minister made it clear.
Kakani alleged that the TDP leaders launched a malicious campaign against him. The Bangalore narcotics police registered a case and began an investigation, he said and appealed to the police to carry out an impartial inquiry and book the culprits. The investigation by Narcotic police would expose who was behind the rave party, he added. Commenting on the election results, Kakani Govardhan Reddy exuded confidence that the YSRCP would register a landslide victory and come to power again.
