Former minister and Gudivada sitting MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) fell ill during a meeting with YSRCP leaders of Nandivada mandal at his residence in Gudivada on Thursday. While discussing the recently concluded general election polling with party leaders and cadres, Nani suddenly collapsed onto the sofa.
Immediately following the incident, Nani’s security personnel cleared the party leaders and cadres from his house and notified doctors. A team of doctors promptly arrived at Nani’s residence and began treatment. According to the doctors, Nani’s condition is currently stable and there is no cause for concern.
Nani had been actively participating in the election campaign for 75 days without rest, which contributed to his exhaustion. During the meeting, he collapsed due to fatigue, stress, and high temperatures, according to party leaders.
Supporters of Kodali Nani have condemned the spread of false news regarding his health. They affirmed that there are no major health issues concerning Nani and criticised the misinformation being circulated.
