Tamil film industry’s celebrated siblings, Suriya and Karthi, have long harboured a desire to collaborate on a project. However, despite their aspirations, such an endeavor failed to materialise. In a recent development, Suriya has taken a significant step towards fulfilling this dream by announcing his production venture, featuring his brother Karthi in the lead role.
The much-anticipated project has been confirmed, with a sneak peek set to be unveiled soon. Notably, the acclaimed director of 96, Prem Kumar, has been roped in to helm the film, adding to the excitement surrounding the announcement. Karthi, along with Arvind Swamy, will headline the cast, promising a captivating cinematic experience.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it’s the first time Karthi will be working under the production banner of Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, co-produced by Suriya and Jyotika.
While Suriya is currently occupied with his ongoing commitments, including Kanguva, which is set for release soon, and an upcoming project under the direction of Sudha Kongara, Karthi is busy shooting for Vaa Vaathiyaare, scheduled for release this year. Additionally, he is gearing up to commence filming for Khaidi 2, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, in the near future.
As anticipation builds around this sibling collaboration, fans eagerly await further updates on the project and look forward to witnessing the dynamic duo’s combined talents unfold on the silver screen.
