Varla writes to DGP for action against YSRCP’s ‘false’ info  

TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah on Monday wrote to Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta to register an FIR and arrest Varra Raveendra Reddy and also Sajjala Bhargav Reddy for criminal conspiracy to malign the image of TDP leaders. The TDP leader complained to the state DGP against the YSRCP henchmen for spreading false information on social media to mislead the public and damaging the reputation of the Telugu Desam Party chief promoting enmity and hatred between groups.
In his letter, he mentioned that YSRCP henchmen at the behest of Sajjala Bhargav Reddy are spreading false information among the public intending to mislead them. Varra Raveendra Reddy with user name @varra1987 on X (formerly Twitter) tweeted saying Nara Chandrababu Naidu is suffering from cancer, which is in the third stage and hence, without any information he went to America to get treatment. Such deliberate spreading of false information to mislead the public has become a habit to the YSRCP social media team headed by Sajjala Bhargav Reddy.
The said the tweet has been posted with malicious intentions to malign the image of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and deliberately mislead the public with false information. Further, the said post on X is aimed at creating confusion among TDP supporters and with a malicious intention to promote enmity and hatred among groups. He appealed to the DGP to register FIR and arrest Varra Raveendra Reddy and also Sajjala Bhargav Reddy for criminal conspiracy to malign the image of TDP leaders, promoting enmity and hatred among groups and for deliberately spreading false information to mislead the public.
