Free bus travel for women soon: Transport Minister

Minister for Transport Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy has made it clear that the free bus journey for women in the State would be provided soon.
The Minister visited Kadapa for the first time after assuming charge as Transport Minister and he was accorded a warm welcome.
Talking to the media on the occasion, the minister said the TDP-headed government is committed to the implementation of free bus travel for women as assured. He said that neighbouring states Telangana and Karnataka are implementing free bus travel for women in their states.
“We will study how they are implementing free bus travel for women. We will analyze and take steps to correct if there are any flaws in implementing the scheme,” he stated. Minister Ram Prasad Reddy said that the YSRCP leaders plundered huge public wealth during the last five years and a thorough investigation would be conducted into the corruption.
