TGTA seeks changes in land administration sysem

Telangana Tahasildars Association (TGTA) leaders on Monday appealed to the Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy to take steps to make comprehensive changes in land administration to take it closer to farmers.
The TGTA demanded that the Minister abolish the GO No. 317 which is against the interests of the employees. They also appealed to the Minister to cancel the CPS system and implement old pension system. They also demanded that the government solve the justified demands of VROs and VRAs and strengthen the revenue system.
TGTA leaders held a state executive Committee meeting on Monday at TGTA office. They discussed with the Minister about the steps to be taken to solve Dharani and land issues.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to the revenue minister about their problems.
