RERA issues show cause notice to two realtors  

The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has issued show-cause notices to two real estate companies.
The Hastina Realty Pvt Ltd is accused of selling plots in the ‘Brissa’ project at Pharma City, Kadthal town, Srisailam Highway, without registering with TG RERA, violating Sections 3(1) and 4(1) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and Rule 1(2) of the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
As per the RERA Act and TG RERA Rules, all real estate projects must be registered before advertising, marketing or selling.
The Sonesta Infra is also accused of selling plots at Flat No. 201, Plot No. 13, Jayabheri Pine Valley Colony, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, without registration, violating the same sections of 3(1) and 4(1) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and Rule 1(2) of the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
According to  RERA, promoter and developers are directed to explain to the authority within one week as to why action should not be initiated against the companies for violation of Section 3(1) of the RERA Act-2016. If failed to respond, RERA advised, necessary action will be initiated.
