Collector reviews services at Ambedkar Memorial  

NTR District Collector Dr G. Srijana has instructed officials to facilitate all necessary arrangements for visitors to the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Social Justice Statue at Swarajya Maidanam in Vijayawada. She emphasized that any issues should be addressed immediately.
Collector Srijana visited the Ambedkar Smritivanam on Saturday and held a steering committee meeting at the Mini Theatre. The meeting covered topics such as greenery, RO plant maintenance, vehicle parking, security, and other relevant issues.
Later, Collector Srijana stated that Smritivanam is being developed into a prominent tourist attraction, expected to draw visitors from across the country. Key attractions include the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Social Justice Statue, a musical fountain, Kudya photos, and the Ambedkar Chaitya Experience Centre. She urged all related departments to work collaboratively to ensure a smooth experience for visitors.
She also directed officials to focus on providing adequate drinking water, sanitation, and toilet facilities. Additionally, she requested measures to prevent traffic congestion caused by visitors. The meeting also discussed the installation of a special municipal water pipeline for the fountain, security staff tenders, and other matters.
