Visakhapatnam MP M Sribharat expressed his profound gratitude for the community’s overwhelming support while unveiling a comprehensive array of initiatives aimed at addressing the Gajuwaka region’s most pressing concerns. During a meeting with pharmaceutical workers and allied unions on Sunday, Sribharat presented a detailed plan to tackle significant issues related to traffic congestion and pollution. Key to his strategy is the implementation of a dedicated pollution control system that will comply with National Green Tribunal (NGT) directives. “We are committed to creating a sustainable environment for our citizens,” Sribharat stated, underscoring the critical importance of adhering to environmental regulations.
A major highlight of Sribharat’s address was the announcement of an ambitious infrastructure project involving the construction of approximately 12 new bridges, extending from Aganampudi to Anandapuram. This initiative also includes an expressway that will connect three of these bridges along the Sheela Nagar-Port Road. The MP emphasized the strategic importance of these developments, noting that they will enhance city-wide connectivity and alleviate challenges posed by rapid urbanization and land acquisition.
Further bolstering Visakhapatnam’s growth trajectory, Sribharat unveiled plans for an international sports stadium under a central government scheme. “This stadium will provide world-class facilities and foster new opportunities for our youth,” Sribharat highlighted, pointing to the benefits this project will bring to local talent and the wider community.
The meeting, which saw the presence of prominent local figures such as Gajuwaka MLA and Telugu Desam Party State President Palla Srinivasa Rao, Gajuwaka BJP in-charge Karanamreddy Narasinga Rao (KNR), and various Gajuwaka TDP corporators, reflected a unified commitment to advancing the region’s development. Sribharat’s ambitious initiatives are set to have a transformative impact on the Gajuwaka region, marking a significant step forward in Visakhapatnam’s ongoing journey towards sustainable growth and improved quality of life for its residents.
