Harish misleading farmers by criticising CM, Uttam: Beerla

Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah said that BRS MLA T. Harish Rao is misleading farmers by criticising Chief Minister Reventh Reddy and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. Everybody knows whose sin is the Kaleshwaram Project, he added.
He criticised Harish for saying that the government had not repaired the Kaleshwaram Project.
He said that the credit for wasting Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the name of the Kaleshwaram Project goes to KCR and Harish and that Harish is creating drama to escape the consequences of the Kaleshwaram scam.
Recalling that the Medigadda Project sank when KCR was in power, Beerla asked why Harish and KTR are not speaking about it now. He said the NDSA had warned that water should not be stored in the Medigadda Barrage.
He said that there is a need to store water in the Annaram Barrage and that 73 TMCs of water is going to the sea due to the BRS government’s policies.
The Congress government is atoning for the sins of the BRS government committed during its 10-year rule. The government is holding talks with the Centre on how to revive the Medigadda project, Beerla added.
He said the Irrigation Minister has been solving the problems of irrigation projects problems one after the other and appealed to KCR to come to the Assembly and give suggestions to the government.
