Ajith to join KGF franchise!

Ajith Kumar recently met with filmmaker Prashanth Neel to discuss the potential of working on two films. According to reports, the first film might be a standalone, while the second could be set in the world of Yash’s KGF. However, these projects will take at least a year to launch. These two films are expected to be produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
The Valimai actor is now filming Vidaa Muyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The film is expected to hit theatres around Diwali 2024. After Vidaa Muyarchi, he will move on to filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly.
“Their first collaboration, which may be AK 64, will be a stand-alone production.” The report stated that this will go on floors in 2025 and be released in 2026. Their second project, which could be his 65th or 66th picture, will be a prequel to KGF 3. “The climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3 and Ajith’s character is touted to be the biggest of them all in the Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe,” stated the press release. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel has Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam and an untitled project featuring Jr NTR in the works. It remains to be seen whether he will do Ajith Kumar’s film in between these two ventures.
