Malavika Mohanan onboards Sardar 2

Karthi-starrer superhit film Sardar’s sequel was kicked off earlier in July. Directed by PS Mithran, the makers had announced that actor SJ Suryah has joined the cast.
Now, on Friday, the makers had announced that actress Malavika Mohanan has joined the cast and will be playing the female lead in the film.
Produced by Prince Picures, the sequel will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.  The rest of the cast of Sardar 2 are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, in one of her latest interviews, Malavika shared her desire to play a gangster role. Apart from from Sardar 2, she will also be seen in The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and Vikram’s Thangalaan.
