Vijayawada rly staffer shines at Inter Railway Athletics Meet

G Kartheeka, Office Superintendent, Commercial Department, Vijayawada, South Central Railway, has made a remarkable achievement by securing second place in the long jump event with a impressive jump of 6.26 m and third place in triple jump with a commendable distance of 12.83 m at the 89th All India Inter Railway Athletics Championships held at Rae Bareli from August 9 to 11.
Kartheeka’s achievements have brought pride to the South Central Railway and are an inspiration to her colleagues.
The 89th All India Inter Railway Athletics Championships saw participation from top athletes from various railway zones across the country.
Narendra A Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, congratulated Kartheeka on her achievement and stated that the Division is proud of her remarkable achievement, which reflects her commitment to excellence and passion for athletics. “Her success motivates us to support and encourage our employees to pursue their sporting interests,” he added.
