Govt committed to ‘Super Six’: Lokesh

Minister for Education, Information Technology (IT), and Electronics Nara Lokesh on Thursday said the State Government is committed to implementing the ‘Super Six’ guarantees, and the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ programme will certainly be implemented.
During his address to the State on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, after unfurling the national flag at the Police Parade Grounds here, Nara Lokesh made it clear that no welfare scheme will be withdrawn under the guise of unnecessary guidelines.
Declaring that the underground drainage system in Guntur will soon be completed, the Minister for IT and Electronics said that the pending railway project works too will be launched in a very short period.
Assuring the gathering of the imminent installation of an underground drainage system between Mangalagiri and Tadepalli, Lokesh said that a jewellery park and a weavers’ cluster will also be established at Mangalagiri. Observing that all the people in the State appeared to be feeling very happy at this Independence Day function, which is being celebrated after the people’s Government was established under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, the IT Minister recalled that Guntur district is the birthplace of various individuals who made significant sacrifices.
Lokesh made it clear that the State Government will certainly stand by the entire farming community and noted that various crops being grown on 92,000 hectares in the district are recorded through the e-crop app. The State Government has set a target of providing 29 lakh working days this year under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme, he said.
“Taking the Vikasitha Bharat-2047 of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, as an inspiration, we are all working hard under the able leadership of Chandrababu Naidu to reach the goal of Vikasitha Andhra-2047,” Lokesh said. The District Vision Action Plan will be announced on 2nd October, he added.
Under the directions of Chandrababu Naidu, stringent measures have been initiated in the 100-day programme to make Andhra Pradesh a drug-free State, the IT Minister said. Nara Lokesh thanked all the district officers, including the Collector, the Superintendent of Police (SP), the district judge, and others.
