Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has criticised the main opposition parties BRS and BJP without naming them that these parties have been spreading falsehood because they are jealous of the success achieved by the Congress government.
He, along with Khammam MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, inaugurated the Ponguleti Seenanna free coaching camp, held under the aegis of the organisation called Right Choice, at Ramleela Function held here on Wednesday.
He addressed the hundreds of the unemployed candidates and the party rank and file on the occasion.
The people voted Congress to power as they sought change of leadership in the state, he said, adding that the Congress would live up to the expectations of the people.
Within 90 days of coming to power, the Congress regime filled 31,000 jobs. The TSPSC has been cleansed within 45 days of coming to power to win the trust of the unemployed. The loan waiver scheme is being implemented at a cost of Rs 31,000 crore to benefit the farmers.
The Congress government is committed to the welfare of the unemployed, he said, alleging that the BRS and another opposition party which is hand-in-glove with the BRS have been trying to provoke the unemployed by getting the competitive exams. A skill development center has been set up in Hyderabad. The persons trained here would be able to show employment to at least 100. He said that skill development branches are going to be set up in the district.
MP Raghuram Reddy, lauding the help being extended by Srinivas Reddy, said that it is very rare to find a person who provides assistance to the unemployed.
He played a key role in the MP’s electoral success, he said. He said that he would extend his support for the good of the unemployed in his capacity as an MP.
Irrigation development corporation chairman Muvva Vijayababu, Telangana Warehousing Corporation chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao and others took part in the event.
