CII Telangana, in collaboration with Google Cloud, hosted the Generative AI Summit in the city, focusing on “Revolutionising healthcare and pharmaceuticals.”
Industry leaders from the Pharma & Health Sciences sector and Google Cloud professionals spoke at the event. Sai D Prasad, Chairman of CII Telangana and Executive Director of Bharat Biotech, discussed the future integration of AI into pharma and other industries. He highlighted CII’s goal of contributing to Telangana’s growth as a trillion-dollar economy.
Anil Bhansali from Google Cloud emphasised the role of AI in driving digital transformation, while Shilpa Reddy of CII Telangana, stressed the summit’s alignment with their 2024-25 objectives. She also highlighted the importance of global trends and AI success stories.
CEO of Aragen Life Sciences, Manni Kantipudi praised the event’s focus on AI’s application in various fields. Phanimitra B from Dr Reddy’s Laboratories emphasised technology’s role in enhancing production processes and continuous improvement.
Finally, Siddharth Bagga from Google Cloud highlighted AI’s impact on drug discovery and personalised medicine, predicting a significant reduction in drug development time through optimised data usage.
