Officials directed to expedite e-Crop process

Must read

District Collector P. Prashanthi has instructed the concerned officials to expedite the e-cropping process in the district.
During a teleconference held on Monday with officials from the district, division, and mandal levels, Collector Prashanthi emphasised the importance of registering the crop area and completing the joint land property mapping process for the current Kharif season. She urged division and mandal officials to ensure effective monitoring at the village level.
The Collector noted that 60 percent of the crop registration process has been completed in the district thus far.
“There is time only until 15th September to complete the crop registration. Village Revenue Officers and Village Agriculture Officers must authenticate the registrations,” she added.
She pointed out that Sitanagaram, Rajanagaram, Devarapalli, Korukonda, Nallajerla, and Kadiyam mandals have completed less than 60 percent of the crop registration, and reiterated that the state government has set 15th September as the cutoff date.
The Collector also highlighted the necessity for certification by the farmers alongside the Village Revenue Officers and Village Revenue Assistants. Currently, only 7.8 percent of the farmers have completed this certification, and she urged officials to take steps to meet the goals promptly.
Collector Prashanthi underscored that personal supervision by division and mandal level officials is mandatory. Joint Collector S. Chinna Ramudu, along with RDO and horticulture officials, were present at the video conference.
