SCCL promotes 2364 Badili workers as mazdoors

SCCL management has given its green signal to regularise services of Badili workers who have put in an experience of working 190 days in a year in underground coal mines and open cast mines and those who put in 240 days of experience in various departments of the SCCL.
From Sep 1, 2024, the Badili workers will be given the status of mazdoors. The SCCL chairman N Balram Naik announced that the services of 2364 Badili workers would be regularized as general mazdoors, bringing joy to the SCCL workers.
The SCCL chairman issued directions to the director (Personnel) to issue orders in this regard.
The services of 25 Badili workers in SCCL corporate office area, 17  in Kothagudem, nine in Illandu, 21 in Manuguru, 476 in Bhupalapalli area, 563 in Ramagundam-1 area, 50 in Ramagundam area-2, 240 in Ramagundam area-3 and Adriala project area, 655 in Srirampur area, 299 in Mandamarri area, nine in Bellampalli area are going to be regularized.
The SCCL first appoints those who joined the services of the company on compassionate grounds and dependent job quota as Badili workers. After working for one year as Badili worker, those who completed minimum musters will be appointed as permanent workers giving them the designation of mazdoors. The highly qualified persons will be  able to get promotions over a period of time. Moreover, they will be  given preference in allotment of quarters.
The CMD urged the employees of the SCCL to work with dedication and discipline in view of the company promoting 2364 Badili workers as mazdoors. The mazdoors should work with more responsibly, he said advisingthem to against abstaining from work. He asked them to discharge duties attending office punctually.
This year, the company has plans to fill 1000 vacancies  through internal promotions, providing opportunity to eligible workers to reach higher positions.
