Lok Sabha member Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday attended a felicitation programme organised by the Mandal Education Department to honor 18 teachers recently selected as the best teachers.
Addressing the gathering, Kiran Kumar Reddy emphasised the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future of children and society. He stated, “Teachers are the builders of a new society, and it is their responsibility to guide students on the right path.” He praised the teaching profession for its noble purpose of molding students into future citizens of India.
The MP highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening schools and urged efforts to eradicate social inequalities. He noted that the government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is working to provide quality education to children.
He reminded the audience that teachers are not just educators but directors who shape the futures of students. He encouraged teachers to recognise hidden skills of their students alongside their subjects.
The programme concluded with the felicitation of the award-winning teachers, who received certificates of appreciation.
The event was attended by Mandal Education Officer Nagayya, MRO Yadagiri, MPDO Jyothilakshmi, local leaders, and other teachers.
