Must read

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday instructed officials to formulate comprehensive plans aimed at creating 20 lakh jobs and other employment opportunities across various sectors over the next five years, in line with the election promise made to the youth.
During a review meeting at the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister met with officials from the Departments of Skill Training, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Industries, and the Society for Employment and Economic Rehabilitation of Flood Victims (SERF).  The discussions focused on aligning skill training with industry demands to meet workforce requirements. Chandrababu Naidu emphasised the potential for large-scale employment through skill development initiatives and stressed the importance of promoting work-from-home models through hybrid systems.
He urged officials to collaborate with multinational companies to establish training centres and explore job creation opportunities, particularly in flood-affected areas, where victims have appealed to the Government for employment support.
The Chief Minister noted that significant results could be achieved by targeting rural areas, where many residents have remained due to various circumstances.   He called for greater cooperation between the Government and industrialists to address these needs and directed officials to present an action plan at the next meeting.
