The BJP’s Malkajgiri MP, Eatala Rajender, said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is using HYDRAA to extort money from builders by threatening them with it and is sending the collected funds to the Congress high command in New Delhi.
He said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should quit the CM’s post as the High Court has found fault with HYDRAA’s actions.
Addressing the BJP Rythu Deeksha on Monday, Eatala said that the CM is doing all these for two things. One is to collect money from builders and send it to the high command and the other is for kickbacks in the name of the Musi River cleansing project, he said.
Demanding that the CM should waive farm loans in full, give Rythu Bharosa funds and implement the six guarantees, Eatala said, “Today is a good day,” as the High Court responded on HYDRAA. “The High Court did not criticise officials but the CM, Revanth Reddy. The CM should step down,” he said.
Eatala said the BJP will stand by the Musi and HYDRAA victims and demanded that the government should announce a roadmap on the Congress government’s assurances.
He also demanded that the CM should upload details of the farm loan waiver scheme in the public domain.
Pointing out that Revanth’s name is synonymous with cheating, Eatala said that Revanth had deceived even Rahul Gandhi.
He asked the CM whether he had discussed HYDRAA in the Cabinet and whether he had informed Congress MLAs.
Revanth reminds one of the late Sanjay Gandhi who had demolished the houses of the poor in New Delhi in 1976 during the Emergency, he said.
Eatala asked Revanth to explain why he is sparing buildings like Jalavihar, Prasad I-Max and Paradise which are in the Hussain Sagar FTL area and why he is demolishing only the houses of the poor.
