Must read

Former Malkajgiri MLA Mainapalli Hanumanth Rao on Tuesday stated that the Congress government will support the  people affected by Musi riverfront development. He made these comments while visiting the displaced farmers of Mallannasagar in Gajwel on Wednesday.

.He alleged that BRS party leaders are politicising the Musi rejuvenation efforts. He wondered why Harish Rao is suddenly expressed concern over the displaced Mallannasagar farmers when he previously ignored them during the floods. He claimed that the farmers in the submerged villages were paid compensation of Rs 5 lakh an acre though the land value there was Rs 30 lakh an acre. Hanumanth Rao criticised KTR and Harish Rao for having uprooted 1,400 families during the Telangana movement and accused them of stirring up people for political gain after losing power. He declared that if any individual suffered loss of life, Harish Rao and KTR should take responsibility. He assured the people that the government will stand by the poor. He said that he would collect Rs10 crore from his friends to provide financial assistance to those displaced persons who cannot receive the government’s help.  He urged wealthy individuals like Mukesh Ambani to lend their support. He also appealed to Prime Minister Modi to help the poor, suggesting that the BJP and Congress should come together .He requested the BRS to provide good advice and cooperate for development instead of provoking the people. He warned that if Harish Rao and KTR attempt to incite the public, he would expose them on LED screens across the state.
