PM-CM meet ‘fruitful’

The top leaders of the coalition NDA government at the Centre and Andhra Pradesh met in Delhi on Monday. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions in the evening and reportedly had a fruitful meeting.
In a message on the social media platform X, Chandrababu Naidu stated, “I had a fruitful meeting with PM Narendra Modi,” and thanked him for the approval granted by the Union Cabinet for the revised cost estimates of the Polavaram project.
He also informed PM Modi about the developments in Andhra Pradesh and expressed his gratitude for the PM’s overall support to the state concerning its fiscal stress and the development of the capital city, Amaravati.
Naidu was accompanied by several TDP MPs, including Lavu Krishnadeva Rayulu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Ram Mohan Naidu, and others.
Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to meet several Union Ministers on Tuesday. He will stay overnight in Delhi and is set to meet Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday morning. The Chief Minister is expected to discuss funding for the development of National Highways, including the Amaravati Outer Ring Road. After he meets with Union Minister Gadkari at 11:30 AM, he will meet Piyush Goyal and Hardeep Singh Puri in the evening. Chandrababu is also scheduled to meet Home Minister Amit Shah at 8 PM and later have a meeting with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 11 PM, sources say.
