Integrated Residential Schools to raise educational standards

The foundation stones for the construction of Young India Integrated Residential Schools in the Nalgonda and Munugodu constituencies will be laid on Friday. This initiative has been taken on the directions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
On Thursday, District Collector C Narayana Reddy held a video conference with District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar, Additional Collectors, and officials to finalise the arrangements for the foundation-laying ceremony of the Integrated Residential Schools.
The Telangana State Government is setting up these schools with the objective of providing international standard of education to students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, and Minority communities.
As part of this initiative, the foundation stone for the schools will be laid at 10 am on Friday
Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, will lay the foundation in Gandhamvari Gudem in Nalgonda constituency, while Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy would lay the foundation at Kalvakuntla village in Munugode constituency.
The Collector directed that the foundation-laying event should be conducted in a festive and grand manner. He instructed that all elected representatives must be invited to the ceremony. Parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, and representatives from women’s organizations connected to the SC, ST, BC, and Minority Residential Schools should be encouraged to attend the event, he said.
 He further emphasized that all arrangements at the venue, including the stage, public address system, drinking water, LED screens, and other infrastructure, should be made without any shortcomings. The construction of these schools will be carried out under the supervision of the Roads and Buildings Department, the Collector confirmed.
Additional Collector J. Srinivas, Additional Collector of Local Bodies T. Poornachandra, R&B SE S. Satyanarayana Reddy, and other officials from relevant departments also participated in the meeting.
