Information Technology Minister D Sridhar Babu on Saturday said that the construction of the Young India Integrated Residential School buildings would be completed by next Dasara.
While laying foundation stone for Young India Integrated Residential School building on Friday at Adavi Somanapalli village in Manthani constituency, Sridhar Babu said that the Congress government is setting up these educational institutions to prepare world-class students.
In an effort to strengthen the education system and provide quality education to underprivileged children, Sridhar Babu stated that significant importance is being given to education.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu emphasised that the establishment of Young India Educational Institutions aims to produce world-class students.
He mentioned that the government is gradually implementing the promises made to the people, including free travel for women in RTC buses, free electricity up to 200 units, a subsidised cylinder at Rs 500, and the Indiramma Housing Scheme for the homeless which will begin next month.
He highlighted the fact that the Congress government has swiftly addressed the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment issue, completing the process in record time, resulting in the appointment of over 11,000 new teachers.
He also mentioned that a young local resident, Shravan Kumar, has secured a job as an SGT. The government has transparently completed the long-pending teacher promotions and transfers over the past ten years and has set up a commission to improve the education sector.
To provide education without caste or religious discrimination, the government will establish one Young India Integrated Educational Institution in each assembly constituency, accommodating students from SC, ST, BC, and minority backgrounds on a single campus.
The integrated educational institution will offer international standard education from 4th to 12th grade, featuring modern amenities such as digital smart boards in classrooms, computer labs, and a library with over 5,000 books on the 25-acre campus.
To promote sports, facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and tennis will be provided in the Young India Integrated Educational Institutions. The construction of these institutions will be completed by the next Dasara, providing students with an opportunity to receive international-level education in one place.
The event was attended by Peddapalli MP Gadam Vamsikrishna, District Collector Koya Sree Harsha, Manthani Municipal Chairperson Rama, Roads and Buildings Executive Engineer Bhav Singh, BC Welfare Officer Anil, Excise Superintendent Mahipal Reddy, public representatives, officials, and others.
