Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday attended the oath-taking ceremony of K Lingamurthy as chairman of the District Library Society in Siddipet district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the reorganised as per the people’s wishes. He cautioned the BRS leaders not to provoke people. Â
He assured the people that the district would be reorganised as per constituency restructuring and that he would take all measures for the district’s development. He mentioned plans to establish an integrated school in the Siddipet, Gajwel, and Dubbaka constituencies and instructed Revenue officials to 25 acres of land for this purpose.
He criticised the previous government for failing to construct proper buildings for Gurukul Schools, forcing them to operate from rented premises.
Minister Prabhakar highlighted the fact that the Congress government had prioritised education and it was providing free electricity. He expressed concern over some private colleges creating difficulties for students by observing shutdown on the pretext of not receiving fee reimbursement and promised that reimbursement would be released regularly.
He warned that if the managements failed to mend their ways, legal action would be taken against them.
