Anagani promises industrial park in Gudivada constituency

Minister for Revenue, Anagani Satya Prasad, has assured the establishment of an industrial park in the Gudivada constituency.
The Revenue Minister inaugurated the newly modernised sub- registrar’s office in Kowthavaram, Gudivada constituency, on Wednesday. The office was upgraded at a cost of Rs 23 lakh. He was accompanied by Minister for Excise Kollu Ravindra, MLA Venigandla Ramu, and Krishna District Collector Gitanjali Sharma at the event.
In addition, the Minister, along with the MLA, inaugurated a Hindustan Petroleum petrol filling station, which was set up with the cooperation of the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society. Speaking on the occasion, the Revenue Minister emphasised that over 30,000 developmental works have been initiated across the state, with a total investment of Rs 4,500 crore.
He mentioned that officials are investigating irregularities related to government lands. The Minister also committed to establishing an Industrial Park in the Gudivada constituency, as requested by MLA Venigandla Ramu. He further added that the government is working to implement its six flagship welfare schemes soon, and the free gas cylinders scheme will be rolled out from Diwali.
Later, on Thursday, Minister Satya Prasad, along with MLA Venigandla Ramu, visited the Tahsildar and RDO offices in Gudivada. They also inspected the premises of the government guest house.
During the visit, MLA Venigandla Ramu brought up the issue of frequent power fluctuations and requested the establishment of an indoor power substation. The Revenue Minister promptly contacted the Energy Minister, Gottipati Ravikumar, who assured swift action to resolve the issue by setting up a substation in Gudivada.
Minister Satya Prasad stressed that the Cabinet prioritises the development of Gudivada, given its significance as the native district of TDP founder and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao.
Speaking to the media, the Minister highlighted that the Tahsildar and RDO offices in Gudivada are currently housed in buildings constructed during British rule. He assured that new buildings for these offices would be constructed soon.
RDO Balasubramanyam, JSP in-charge Buragadda Srikanth, and former municipal chairman Yalavarti Srinivasa Rao were among those present with the Minister.
