CII AP holds workshop on ‘Best Earthing Practices’

CII Andhra Pradesh conducted a one-day workshop on ‘Best Earthing Practices’ at the AP MSME Industries Association Hall here on Wednesday.
The workshop aimed at enhancing understanding and compliance with statutory requirements. DV Ravindranath, Chairman, CII Vijayawada, and Director, Siva Systems, welcomed the participants. In his address, he emphasised the importance of adopting best practices in electrical safety and infrastructure.
Kalle Sai Kaushik, Scientist D and Joint Director, BIS, Vijayawada, highlighted the regulatory frameworks governing earthing practices. He reiterated the importance of safety in electrical installations and the role of proper earthing systems in safeguarding lives and properties.
Malineni Narayana Prasad, Managing Partner, Narayana Prasad Electrical Works, set the theme for the workshop. He underscored the significance of earthing systems in ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations.
Bayana Venkat Rao, honorary president, AP MSME Industries Association, emphasised the need to adopt best practices in earthing to minimise the hazards.
