Freedom Park unveiled at Kukatpally as part of CSR

Promoting community wellness with green space for the neighbourhood, Freedom Park was unveiled at Balajinagar and Kukatpally. Developed by Gemini Edibles & Fats India Limited (GEF India), makers of Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils, the park is part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. It offers a place to relax, exercise, play and bond.
The park was unveiled on Thursday by Akshay Chowdhry, Group Vice President of GEF India, and P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, GEF India, in the presence of representatives from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and local residents.
According to GEF India, it invested Rs. 2.76 crore to develop Freedom Park, which features a jogging/walking track, an amphitheatre, a covered zone for community gatherings, a children’s play area with colorful swings, outdoor gym equipment, a yoga zone, benches, washrooms and beautiful landscaping. This park serves as a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
