In a major reshuffle, the Telangana Government has issued orders transferring several IAS officers.
D. Krishna Bhaskar, IAS (2012), has been posted as the CMD of TRANSCO with additional responsibilities as Special Secretary to the Deputy CM.
Three officers who came back to Telangana from Andhra Pradesh after the DoPT order have been given postings.
Chevvuru Hari Kiran, IAS (2009), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as the Director of Prohibition & Excise.
Siva Sankar Lotheti, IAS (2013), has been appointed as the CEO of Arogyasri Health Care Trust, relieving RV Karnan, IAS (2012).
Srijana G, IAS (2013), also awaiting posting, has been appointed as the Director of PR & RD.
E. Sridhar, IAS (2004), has been moved from his role as the Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise and has been appointed as the Secretary
of the BC Welfare Department. He will also handle the role of Commissioner, Endowments, previously managed by Zendage Hanumant Kondiba, IAS (2016).
Anita Ramachandran, IAS (2004), has been reassigned from the post of Commissioner, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development (PR & RD) as the Secretary of the Women & Child Development and Scheduled Castes (WCD & SC) Department, replacing TK Sreedevi, IAS (2004).
In other key changes, Ilambarithi K., IAS (2005), who was serving as the Commissioner of Transport, has now been appointed as the Commissioner of GHMC, while K. Surendra Mohan, IAS (2006), currently Secretary (Mines & Geology), will hold additional charge as Commissioner of Transport.
Smita Sabharwal, IAS (2001), who was serving as Member Secretary of the Telangana State Finance Commission, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture (YAT&C) Department. Additionally, she will retain charge as Member-Secretary of the Finance Commission and as Director of Archaeology.
Chittem Lakshmi, IAS (2013), has taken over as the Director of AYUSH from Christina Z. Chongthu, IAS (2001).
Krishna Aditya S., IAS (2014), formerly Director of Labour, has been posted as the Director of Intermediate Education and Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, with additional charge as VC & MD of Telangana Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGWEIDC).
Sanjay Kumar, IAS (1995), Principal Secretary of the LET&F Department, will take on the additional role of Commissioner of Labour.
Dr Gaurav Uppal, IAS (2005), Resident Commissioner at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, will hold additional responsibilities as Secretary (Coordination–GoI Projects) in the General Administration Department.
