TDP leaders expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Nara Ramamurthy Naidu, remembering him as a champion of the poor. On Saturday, party leaders gathered at the TDP’s central office to offer condolences and pay their respects by placing flowers on the portrait of Ramamurthy Naidu. The leader spoke about his commitment to the welfare of the people, particularly the underprivileged, and his tireless efforts to build a better government for the state.
TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao and Politburo member Varla Ramaiah, during the condolence meeting, described Ramamurthy Naidu as a humanitarian who worked relentlessly to unite people. They recalled how he always remained in close touch with the masses, voicing their concerns and advocating for their needs. His devotion to the success of the TDP and his continuous efforts for the party’s growth were also highlighted.
The leaders also remembered his vision of a ‘Ram Rajyam’—a just society where evil forces would be defeated and justice would prevail. They spoke of his goodness and kindness, which ensured he would always remain in the hearts of the people. They added that such individuals are rare, and although Ramamurthy Naidu may no longer be with them, his legacy would live on in the memories of the people.
TDP leaders including P. Govind Satyanarayana, Syavala Devadath, Gurumurthi, Sajja Hemlatha, Mustak Ahmed, Dharapaneni Narendra Babu, Buchhi Ramprasad, Patarla Ramesh, Haji Hassan Basha, Chappidi Rajasekhar, Shankar Naidu, Ravi Yadav, Mulak Satyavani, Peery Subhashini, and others were present at the tribute meeting.
