Buchi Babu Sana’s much-awaited sports drama RC 16, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, officially began filming in Mysore. The director, known for his blockbuster debut Uppena, sought blessings at the Chamundeshwari Matha temple before commencing the shoot. Sharing his excitement on social media, Buchi wrote, “It’s a BIG DAY… Started with the blessings of Chamundeshwari Matha, Mysore. Blessings needed. #RC16,” along with a photo of himself holding the script. Adding to the excitement, veteran actor Jagapathi Babu has joined the cast to play a pivotal role. Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, welcomed him, stating, “Team #RC16 welcomes the incredibly talented @IamJagguBhai on board for a commanding character that will impress one and all.” This marks Jagapathi’s second collaboration with Ram Charan after Rangasthalam. The lead stars are expected to begin filming key scenes on Monday. Vijay Sethupathi, who previously collaborated with Buchi Babu, has already hailed the project as a “sure shot blockbuster.”
