Actor Nithiin is coming up with his upcoming film Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula. The film, starring Sreeleela as the female lead, is set to hit the screens on December 25. It is interesting to note that Nithiin is pairing up with Sreeleela again in this film. During the promotions of his earlier film Extraordinary Man, Nithiin had criticised Sreeleela for not providing sufficient dates to complete the film. At that time, he had also cautioned Venky Kudumula about this issue. “I know I said those words, but for this film, she gave her time, and after its release, we became a hit pair,” said Nithiin.
The actor has also joined hands with director Venky Kudumula for the second time after Bheeshma. “In this film, you can see more entertainment than Bheeshma,” said Venky. He added that this film will definitely give a boost to Nithiin’s career. Talking about Sreeleela, the director said that till now, many see her as Dancing Queen. “But now, with this film, Sreeleela could prove herself as a good actress with her performance,” said the director.
Sreeleela is currently in the news for her special song from Pushpa 2. When asked whether the makers had initially wanted to rope in Shraddha Kapoor for the same song, she replied, “I don’t know about it, but when it came to me, I decided to do the song.” When asked about her remuneration for the song, she said, “I haven’t discussed it with my producers yet.” Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa 2 and Robinhood, are confident that they will end the year on a high note. “Our film Robinhood is definitely a good film,” said Ravi, one of the producers.
