Pointing out that there is no difference between the BRS and Congress governments, the BJP alleged in its charge sheet that the Congress government had failed to initiate action against land grabbers although it had assured during its election campaign that it would take strong action against land grabbers if it is voted to power.
The BJP released a 12-page charge sheet against the Congress government on Sunday titled, ‘Congress Guarantees Garadi-6 lies and 66 Deceptions.’
In its charge sheet, the BJP said the Congress government had failed to implement its assurances to appoint a ‘Land Commission’ and to solve the problem of land rights.
Recalling the Congress allegation that the BRS government had engaged in illegal acts using the Dharani Portal and that it would dump the Dharani Portal in the Bay of Bengal and introduce the Bhumatha Portal immediately after coming to power, the BJP charge sheet pointed out that the Congress government had not taken any action against anyone.
Pointing out the Congress admin’s soft corner towards BRS leaders the BJP said the Congress government is colluding with the BRS.
The BJP said that around 10 lakh acres belonging to farmers disappeared during the BRS government and now the Congress government is getting ready to demolish lakhs of houses in the name of HYDRAA and Fourth City.
Declaring that there is no difference between the administrations of the BRS and the Congress, the BJP said that the BRS government pocketed Rs 1 lakh crore through the Kaleshwaram Project and that the Congress government is trying to loot Rs 1.5 lakh crore through the Musi Project.
The BJP charge sheet said the BRS government extorted money in the name of K-Tax and the Congress government is collecting money as RR-Tax.
The BJP charge sheet pointed out that the Congress had assured that it would cancel the Pharma City project and give back the lands to farmers as per the HC’s directions. However, the Congress admin is now trying to seize more land from farmers in the name of Future City, the BJP said.
The BJP charge sheet said the Congress government has not only failed to launch the promised Indiramma Housing scheme but instead, it is demolishing houses in the name of Musi cleaning and is filing false cases against those who oppose the demolitions. The Congress government has scrapped the scheme to provide house sites to Hyderabad journalists, it said.
The BJP charge sheet said the government has not issued a single new ration card after coming to power although it had promised a lot regarding this. The law and order situation has deteriorated and crimes against women are increasing by the day, the BJP said.
