Chintalapudi YSRCP MLA VR Eliza, his wife and two sons had a miraculous escape as the car in which they were travelling rammed an electric pole at Aadamilli village in Kamavarapukota mandal in the wee hours on Tuesday.
Police said that the MLA, along with wife and two sons, was going to Jangareddygudem from Hyderabad. The car driver lost control of the car resulting in it veering off the road and ramming an electric pole.
Under the impact of hitting the car, the electric transformer was destroyed and fell down.
However, the MLA along with his family members escaped unhurt. The airbags in the car opened immediately after the accident protecting those who were in the car.
