Vishnu Manchu joins forces with Will Smith

The actor has announced that his company, Taranga Ventures, a media and entertainment tech fund, is in advanced talks with Hollywood superstar Will Smith to join as a key partner.
The $50 million fund, with a potential extension of another $50 million, aims to drive innovation in the media and entertainment sector. The fund plans to invest in game-changing technologies and industries such as OTT platforms, animation, gaming, blockchain and advanced technologies like AR, VR and AI. Additionally, it seeks to support mergers, acquisitions, and growth opportunities in the ever-evolving entertainment landscape.
Apart from Vishnu Manchu and Will Smith, other key personalities involved with Taranga Ventures include Addishree, a finance expert; Pradyuman Jhala, a Canadian investor in real estate; Vinay Maheshwari, a senior executive in the Indian media industry; and Devesh Chawla and Satish Kataria, specialists in investor relations and fund operations.
