The Telugu Film Industry has been in the news for the past few days. The industry was left stunned after Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the Sandhya Theater stampede, which resulted in the death of a woman. Although he was granted bail on the same day, the Chanchalguda Jail authorities did not receive the bail papers in time, leading to his overnight stay in jail. The next morning, he was released, and the entire Tollywood fraternity rallied around him, offering their support.
Several actors, including Venkatesh, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya and Sudigali Sudheer, visited Allu Arjun’s house to express their solidarity. Many producers and directors also paid him a visit. However, Chiranjeevi, who had visited Allu Arjun’s house when he was at the police station, did not visit after his release. Notably, other Mega actors and cousins of Allu Arjun, such as Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Durgha Tej and Vaishnav Tej, also did not visit his house, sparking speculation about the reasons behind their absence. In a surprising move, Allu Arjun, accompanied by his wife Sneha Reddy, visited Chiranjeevi’s house and met with him. This gesture has raised eyebrows, given the reported differences between Allu Arjun and the Mega family, particularly after his visit to Nandhyal. However, it appears that Allu Arjun has chosen to extend an olive branch to Chiranjeevi.
Interestingly, there are reports suggesting that Chiranjeevi was instrumental in responding to Allu Arjun’s arrest and ensuring his bail. Apparently, Chiranjeevi entrusted Niranjan Reddy, a lawyer and producer of his earlier film Acharya, to argue Allu Arjun’s case and secure his release. Notably, Niranjan Reddy is also a close friend of Ram Charan and has represented the legal team for former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The outcome of Allu Arjun’s visit to Chiranjeevi’s house remains to be seen. Will they patch up their differences, or was this simply a courtesy call? Did Allu Arjun apologise to Chiranjeevi for his visit to Nandhyal, despite being advised against it? Only time will tell. The fans are eagerly waiting to see how this development unfolds and whether they will ultimately patch up their differences.
