CM unhappy with performance of some ministers in his cabinet

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of several Cabinet ministers. He voiced his displeasure over the fact that many in-charge ministers have not yet visited certain districts, despite six months having passed.
According to reliable sources, during a discussion after the AP Cabinet meeting, the developments in Delhi related to the controversy surrounding the statement of Union Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah, were reviewed. Union Minister Rammohan Naidu briefed Minister Lokesh over the phone about the developments in Parliament. CM Chandrababu Naidu also expressed concern over ministers not effectively utilising technology, stating that he is closely monitoring their performance.
The Chief Minister mentioned that he is fully aware of how long files have been pending with each minister. He also criticised in-charge ministers for not visiting some districts as per their responsibilities. Ministers were advised to study policies in detail, with some admitting they had not reviewed them at all. The cabinet rejected a proposal to reduce the tenure of local body chairmen from four years to two and a half years. Minister Narayana stated that the tenure of chairmen in 79 municipalities will be completed by March next year.
CM Chandrababu further stated that a total of Rs 31,000 crore is allocated for the construction of the capital. Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar urged the Chief Minister to take appropriate measures for the construction of the assembly building. The CM has instructed ministers to inspect assembly buildings in various states to evaluate their condition.
