The Telugu Film Industry (TFI) is in doldrums after the Allu Arjun arrest episode, where the Telangana Chief Minister announced that there are no benefit shows or ticket price hike in Telangana state. Also, there is a big gap between the Telugu Film Industry and the Telangana Government, so the TFI members will be meeting the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today. This was confirmed by the Telangana Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju.
“Yes, we are going to meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today morning at 10 am,” said Dil Raju. “I am sending messages to everyone and whoever available in the city is coming, including actors, directors and producers,” said Raju at KIMS Hospital. On Wednesday, Raju, along with producer Allu Aravind visited the hospital and enquired about Sri Tej’s health. “Sri Tej is improving and he is now without a ventilator and also some movements in his body,” said Dil Raju. He added that Allu Arjun, producer Mythri Movie Makers and director Sukumar, together donated Rs 2 crore for the family of Prabhakar (Revathi’s husband).
“We are also taking care of the family and we will do whatever we can permanently,” said Dil Raju. When asked that Allu Aravind is also attending tomorrow’s meeting, Dil Raju said, “Everyone is coming.” He said he is arranging this meeting through FDC. “I am related to the film industry, so Revanth Reddy garu appointed me as FDC Chairman and it’s my responsibility to fill the gap between the two,” said Dil Raju.
For another question, he said he didn’t meet Allu Arjun, but said, “I will definitely meet him”.
