Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar attended the closing ceremony of the 5th season of the Chaudharyguda Premier League and presented prizes to the winners.
Addressing the players, the MLA emphasised the importance of embracing both victories and defeats equally. He also highlighted the growing recognition of cricket, mentioning the possibility of the sport being included in the Olympics in the near future.
Encouraging the players, Veerlapalli Shankar urged them to excel not only in sports but also in academics, striking a balance between the two. The event witnessed active participation from Mandal President Raju, former MP Tanaudu Anjaneyulu, BC Cell Taluka President Chandrasekhar, former vice MPPs Ijaz and Chandra Babu, former sarpanches Balaraju, Salim, Narsimlu, and Gopal, along with leaders and activists, including Ravi.
