367 missing kids traced in Prakasam district

The Prakasam district police have successfully traced 367 missing children, reuniting 42 of them with their parents.
Superintendent of Police (SP) AR Damodhar informed the media on Saturday that the police had efficiently investigated cases of children who went missing or were kidnapped in the district. During a special programme held at the SP office, 42 of the traced children, including both boys and girls, were safely reunited with their parents.

The SP said, “Out of the 367 traced children, 42 were handed over to their parents during the programme. Parents were counselled on how to ensure their children’s safety and well-being.”
Regular meetings are held by the SP with station officers to provide guidelines for resolving missing cases efficiently. The efforts of the special teams were lauded for their role in tracing the missing children.
Grateful parents expressed their thanks to the SP and the police team for reuniting them with their children. Additional SP (Administration) K. Nageswara Rao, AR Additional SP Ashok Babu, and DSPs R. Srinivasa Rao, Lakshminarayana, Nagaraju, and Maheswara Rao were present at the event.
