Bandi calls upon ex sarpanches to defeat Cong in local body polls

Must read

Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar called on the former sarpanches to defeat Congress in the upcoming local body elections and assured them that BJP would stand by them in their fight. He said the BJP would force the Congress government to clear all pending bills.
He further accused the Congress government of deceiving the sarpanches by promising to clear the bills but failing to deliver on it word. The former sarpanches, who worked in good faith for public development, are now burdened with debt and left high and dry.
On Monday, a delegation led by Akkinapally Karunakar, president of the State Association of Former Sarpanches, met Bandi Sanjay and submitted a petition. Karunakar expressed faith in Sanjay, stating, “He has always fought for resolving issues in the state, and we believe he will address the problems faced by us.” Later, speaking to the media, Sanjay criticised the Congress government for its corrupt practices. He pointed out that approximately Rs 1,300 crore in bills are pending for nearly 12,769 former sarpanches across the state. Despite promises, the Congress government has not released even a single rupee in over a year.
In any village you visit today, you can visibly see developmental programmes such as Palle Pragathi, Rythu Vedika, Vaikuntha Dhamam,. Dumping Yards, 5. Palle Prakruthi Vanam (Village Nature Park), Haritha Vanam, Revenue Plantations, Community Halls, High Mast Lights, Internal CC Roads, CC Drains, Mission Bhagiratha (Water Supply Program), 13 Plastic Waste Management, and  Mana Ooru – Mana Badi (Our Village – Our School).
People know that all these were accomplished because of the efforts of the former sarpanches.
However, with no current sarpanches in place, people are now saying that there’s no one even to lay a handful of soil in the villages.
