District Collector Kranti Valluru instructed the revenue officials to personally verify the applications and select the beneficiaries through discussions at village meetings for the Indiramma houses.
On Tuesday, at a meeting at the Sangareddy Collectorate with RDOs, Tahsildars, Special Officers, MPDOs, and others, the Collector emphasised that complaints should not arise regarding the distribution of houses in the district. The Collector advised the revenue officials to act in transparent manner, ensuring that only those eligible for Indiramma houses are selected in the villages.
Meanwhile, the Collector directed the District Medical Officer, District Education Officer, and other t authorities concerned to take necessary measures for establishing Anganwadi centres, Amma Adarsha Schools, and other facilities in the double bedroom houses constructed in Kollur and Tellapur. The officials should ensure that houses are handed over to the beneficiaries once construction is completed.
Furthermore, the Collector emphasised that the officials should work with the Cooperative Department to establish societies for the double bedroom houses in Kollur and Tellapur and take action to complete any unfinished construction as soon as possible.
This meeting was attended by Additional Collectors Madhuri, Chandrashekar, Housing PD Chalpati, Mandal Special Officers, Tahsildars, Mandal Parishad Development Officers, contractors, and others.
