The Telangana government has issued Rythu Bharosa guidelines on Sunday. It was announced that the Rythu Bharosa scheme will be implemented from January 26. It has been clarified that under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, crop investment assistance of Rs 12,000 per acre per year is being given.
As per the guidelines–The government has decided to provide Rythu Bharosa assistance to pattadars based on the area of cultivable land registered in the Bhu Bharati portal. Non-cultivable lands were removed from Rythu Bharosa. ROFR pattadars are also eligible for Rythu Bharosa. The Telangana government has decided to deposit the Rythu Bharosa
assistance in the farmers’ accounts through the DBT method conducted by the RBI. NIC will act as IT partner. The District Collectors have been entrusted with the responsibility of redressal of complaints regarding the implementation of the scheme. The government has advised the director of agriculture to take appropriate action.
