Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a high after the success of ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ which was released on January 12, on the occasion of Sankranthi festival. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film did well and gave Balakrishna his fourth consecutive hit. Speaking about the success, the actor said, the film has a good message. “The story’s backdrop is about water and in this film we created awareness about water preservation,” said Balakrishna. He added that a Telugu engineer went to Rajasthan and became a Daaku Maharaaj to protect the people there. “I should thank the Telugu audience for making this film a great success,” said Balakrishna.
The actor praises director Bobby for getting good performances from every actor. At the same time, Balakrishna praises music director Thaman and said that fans changed his name as Nandamuri Thaman. “From now onwards I want to name him as NBK Thaman,” said Balakrishna at the success meet of this film.
Balakrishna talks highly about Telugu cinema and it is now watched by all over the world and appreciated. “The Telugu Film Industry is now growing up to match the world cinema,” said the actor. Talking about his records, he said, “my records, collections, awards and rewards are all unstoppable,” he said about himself.
He finally said that the Telugu audience always encourages when you show something new in the film. “It is proved with my ‘Daaku Maharaaj’,” he said. Because of the Tirumala stampede incident, they cancelled the pre-release event in Anantapur, but now, they want to hold a success meet on January 22 at the same place, the actor declared. The actor praised the female leads Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath for their performances.
