Lokesh addresses grievances on Day 58 of ‘Praja Darbar’

People from across Andhra Pradesh thronged the 58th day of the Praja Darbar in Undavalli, seeking solutions to issues ranging from land rights and pensions for the elderly and widows to job opportunities, financial aid for medical treatment, and employee grievances. Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, personally reviewed each grievance and assured swift action. He directed officials to address the concerns raised without delay.
Among the key grievances highlighted was a plea from residents of Santekudlur in Kurnool district, urging the completion of a summer storage tank project left pending due to alleged negligence during the YSRCP government’s tenure. Lokesh assured that efforts would be made to complete the construction and ensure adequate drinking water supply.
V. Ram Gopal from Rentapalla, Palnadu district, sought assistance for the online registration of four acres of land in his late wife’s name, a request pending despite repeated appeals. Lokesh promised immediate action to resolve the matter. Similarly, S. Edayya from Ekonampet, Macherla Mandal, whose 3.10 acres of land was submerged due to the Satrasala Dam, requested a job as promised by the government. Lokesh assured him of suitable employment opportunities.
B. Mallanna from Nandavaram Mandal, Kurnool district, shared his struggles after migrating to Vijayawada due to agricultural losses and requested a job in the municipal office. Lokesh assured support in resolving his issues. Representatives from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Eluru requested the restoration of 26 welfare schemes for backward classes and the withdrawal of wrongful cases against activists filed during the previous government’s tenure. Lokesh assured a thorough review of the matter.
AP Data Entry Operators Welfare Association members requested recognition as contract workers to address job security and employment terms. Lokesh assured them of a solution.
Madarsa volunteers from the Guntur district sought clearance of pending honorarium payments. Lokesh assured them that the dues would be settled promptly.
