Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that all nominated posts in the government will be filled by June. He further emphasised that party leaders should prioritise those who have been loyal to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from the beginning, rather than those who joined from other parties.
On Tuesday, Naidu held a teleconference with key TDP leaders, including MLAs, MPs, Ministers, and party in-charges. The discussion covered several issues, including government programmes, party affairs, and the performance of leaders. During the teleconference, the Chief Minister outlined various directives for the party members.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of elected representatives, including MLAs, MPs, and Ministers, being actively involved in party activities. He urged leaders to be accessible to party workers and the public daily. Leaders were encouraged to meet the expectations of the people and workers, who have been pivotal in the party’s historical achievements.
Naidu also urged party leaders to work with dedication to secure a victory in the 2029 elections. He highlighted the importance of taking government schemes and programmes to the people and underscored the need for constant monitoring and improvement of the government’s work.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to fulfilling all promises made during the elections and instructed leaders to counter the false propaganda spread by the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). He stressed the significance of respecting party workers, and acknowledging their hard work that contributed to the party’s recent electoral success. He cautioned against complacency and advised leaders not to take their positions for granted.
In line with the party’s commitment to justice, Naidu assured that nominated posts would be offered to deserving party workers and leaders, based on their contributions and work ethic.

He further directed that only those active in the party’s organisational structure—such as Cluster, Unit, Booth, and Section members—should be recommended for nominated positions.
Naidu directed MLAs to submit suitable recommendations for appointments to Agriculture Market Committees and Temple Committees. He emphasized that those aspiring for positions in these committees must be members of the CUBS.
The Chief Minister confirmed that all pending nominations for market committees and trust boards would be completed by June, with performance reviews for officeholders every two years. Naidu assured that those excelling in their duties would be given opportunities for advancement in future appointments.
Ministers were instructed to work closely with MLAs in their districts to address party issues and resolve local problems. The Chief Minister also stressed the need for swift action on pending bills in the legislature. He advised leaders to prioritise long-standing party workers over those who have recently joined from other parties, reaffirming that it was the responsibility of MLAs to ensure that those who have supported the party from the beginning are duly recognised and rewarded.
Naidu urged party leaders to effectively communicate the party’s future plans to the public, ensuring that the people remain confident in the government’s direction. He also directed party leaders to continue implementing welfare schemes and countering the opposition’s false narratives.
The Chief Minister assured that more programmes would be launched in the coming days to benefit the public, building on the systems already in place.
This teleconference serves as a reminder to TDP leaders of their responsibility to stay engaged with the public, fulfil their commitments, and work towards the party’s long-term goals.
